Jeff Tesselaar has been an ambassador for the Del Ferro Institute since 2025. “I want to share my story so that others don’t have to go through the same thing. I was once told that I would never get rid of it. That I had to learn to live with stuttering. But that’s not true. You can get rid of it. I am proof of that.”

What people see, someone who gets stuck on words, is just the tip of the iceberg. Underneath there is so much tension, uncertainty and sadness. That’s why I tell my story. Because who knows, maybe one day we can abolish World Stuttering Day because no one needs it anymore.
